In the initial phase of their doctorate, many doctoral candidates feel like they are left alone with a wide range of interdisciplinary questions. The peer coaching brings together doctoral candidates in the first year of their doctorate. In each session, one or two participants present a current challenge or question to be discussed in the group. We share experiences, give advice, and try to develop possible solutions together. The topics discussed in the individual sessions can be introduced by the participants themselves and the meetings can be organised according to their needs. Topics might include, f.ex. identifying with your new role, dealing with colleagues and supervisors, or time management, amongst others.
