tRATEmark - Automated evaluation of word marks using machine learning methods

Overview

Today, intangible assets determine an average of 84% of a company's value. Among these intangible assets, brands play an important role, which in the form of words, phrases and logos significantly favor the market success of a company. The project aims to develop a method for the automated valuation of brands that is capable of continuously carrying out large quantities of valuations in a reproducible form and quality, particularly on the basis of unstructured (public) data sources. Compared to previous evaluation methods, the data required to determine the respective brand value is collected automatically before the brand value is predicted using machine learning methods. The project partners are the University of Paderborn and InTraCoM GmbH from Bonn.
