On Tuesday, 9 September, Paderborn University's International Office bid farewell to 106 exchange students from all over the world. They all spent the summer semester 2024 in Paderborn. For some, it was their second semester at the university. The students came to Paderborn from 56 partner universities in 20 different countries. After five or ten months, they will now return to their respective home universities. Together with the student initiative Eurobiz, everyone was able to look back on the past few months.

"The time has flown by. Thank you for the shared memories. We wish you all the best for the future," said Martina Leifeld from the International Office. In addition to lectures and seminars, numerous excursions and cultural events were on the programme for the international students.

At the farewell event, Leifeld, together with Nicole Struzek, Heike Stiller and Brigitte Rohde from the International Office, provided information about the organisational steps that still need to be completed before departure. Afterwards, everyone had the opportunity to talk about their time together and take photos.

On Tuesday, 3 September, the new exchange students for the winter semester 2024/25 will be welcomed back.
