Mem­bers of the Leo­pold­ina - Na­tion­al Academy of Sci­ences

The German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina is the oldest scientific and medical scientific society in Germany. It was founded in Schweinfurt in 1652 and has been based in Halle/Saale since 1878. Outstanding scientists from all over the world are elected as members. Since 2008, the Leopoldina is the National Academy of Sciences.
