Twice a semester, Paderborn University's Writing Centre offers half-day or one-day workshops on all questions related to writing in the doctoral process. The workshops will take place in German.

Starting your doctoral project
In this one-day workshop, everything revolves around the most important prerequisites for starting the doctoral writing project well prepared, motivated and goal-oriented.

Writing an exposé
A workshop for all doctoral students at the start of their doctorate who are writing an exposé on their project - for their own topic clarification, for supervisors or for a scholarship application.

Writing strategies for doctoral students
This workshop focuses on the process of writing in the narrower sense and shows various possibilities, approaches, exercises and strategies on how to get texts around the PhD going.

Revision strategies for doctoral students
As a rule, academic writing does not get by without a thorough revision of existing outlines, drafts and text fragments. This workshop is aimed at PhD students who have already produced text and now want to find the red thread.
