We would like to invite you to our virtual event series International Tuesdays, which will take place on Zoom on Tuesdays between 1 and 2pm, starting on 5 December 2023.
Many units and people at UPB are involved in Paderborn University's internationalisation process. The International Tuesdays offer all interested members of UPB the opportunity to learn more about UPB’s internationalisation activities and invite them to exchange ideas, experiences and best practices. Thus, the format intends to create a platform that offers interdisciplinary, cross-sectional networking opportunities.
This semester, the following events will take place:
- 5 December: Paderborn University and international rankings, Tilo Wodzinski
- 12 December: Creating COLOURS - Get to Know the Partners in our Alliance: University St Kliment Ohridski Bitola (North Macedonia) and Kristianstad University (Sweden) (in English)
- 19 December: Support for refugee students and academics at UPB, Volker Verhoff and Anna-Marina Vogt
- 9 January: Sharpening Paderborn University’s International Profile: The HRK-Audit “Internationalisation of Universities”, Prof. Dr. Torsten Meier
- 16 January: Creating COLOURS - Get to Know the Partners in our Alliance: Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (Croatia) und Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (Latvia) (in English)
- 23. January: A glance at the study about support for international students in the United States of America, Republic of Korea and Germany from a comparative perspective, Eun Young Park (in English)
- 30 January: From research to the market: Funding Opportunities by the European Innovation Council (EIC), Dr. Katharina König und Jutta Deppe
- 6 February: Get-Together of international researchers, Anna-Marina Vogt (face-to-face, in English)
