An ZIM Commission was formed to advise the Presidium, the Senate and the head of the ZIM on fundamental issues concerning the tasks of the ZIM, to actively support the further development of the ZIM and to represent the interests of the users of the ZIM.

Tasks and composition of the Commission for the ZIM are defined in § 7 of the Administrative Regulations for the Centre for Information and Media Technology Services at the University of Paderborn dated 24 May 2024.
