Fees

Language course participants are enrolled at the University of Paderborn and are therefore required to pay a semester fee. This includes the price of the semester ticket too which enables students to use local transport in all of North Rhine-Westphalia for free.

The course fee amounts to 500 Euro for each CEFR level.

Each course level takes ca. 3 months (January to March / April to June / July to September / October to December).

Refugees who are qualified to study and have a secure perspective of remaining in Germany as well as asylum seekers residing in the district of Paderborn can apply for a scholarship from the funding program "NRWege ins Studium" (MKW) through the International Office. If the scholarship application is successful, the costs of one course level will be covered. It is possible to apply for the scholarship more than once. A letter of motivation and a copy of the current residence document are required for the application. All important information about the application can be found at NRWege ins Studium.

Please pay the fees to Paderborn University. (The bank details for the Semester fees and the DSH-Course Fees are different, please take this into account!)
