EBBD - European Business Baccalaureate Diploma
Overview
Partners in the Comenius EBBD project from Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Finland, Austria, the Netherlands and Germany are working together in the EBBD project to design the European Business Baccalaureate Diploma.
The aim is to give young people in Europe the opportunity to obtain the EBBD, a Europe-wide harmonized and recognized additional qualification for business professions, in addition to their general university entrance qualification, in order to increase their chances on the European job market.
On behalf of the project and specifically the project coordinator (Rudolf-Rempel-Berufskolleg Bielefeld), the Chair of Business Education II at Paderborn University is responsible for the external product evaluation.
In the course of this, the entire EBBD portfolio is evaluated. This includes:
a) the evaluation of the EBBD curriculum at both levels of description (1st profile and 2nd learning units) and
b) the proposal for the intended ECVET application,
c) the EBBD certificate and the competence assignments and competence formulations therein as well as
d) the consideration of the associated accreditation process.
The evaluation is independent and open-ended.
