Berufsorientierungsseminar 2010

Overview

As part of the vocational orientation seminar 2010, vocational orientation measures are carried out in school contexts for pupils with special needs. This will be tested in a self-catering house at a venue away from the school. The catering activities provide an insight into various business and hospitality activities.

In cooperation with the Georg-Schule Dahlem, the vocational orientation week in the Eifel region will cover both job-related skills and experience-based tasks. In addition, information on the vocational training system and career choice is discussed during the careers orientation week and developed in activating tasks. This approach is supplemented by job-related team tasks, such as material procurement and design tasks in conjunction with classic team experience tasks.

Several large-scale activating tasks and discussion forums are integrated into the evaluation with the aim of generating suggestions for improving the current approaches that are implemented in various types of schools, some of which have clear weaknesses.
