Dynamics - Thinking ahead to the future of additive manufacturing - seizing opportunities for business

The "Dynamics" project produced a study containing exemplary results from the project "Development of a system for testing the potential of additive manufacturing", which was carried out by the Direct Manufacturing Research Center (DMRC) and the Heinz Nixdorf Institute at the University of Paderborn. The goal of the project is to develop methods for identifying business opportunities for additive manufacturing technologies in companies. The sum of these methods is considered as an overarching control system that has been validated in workshops with external companies and DMRC partners. The checking system is based on findings from the previous project "Research Strategies for Additive Manufacturing Technologies". The present study is complemented by results from DynAMiCS, which are published in a confidential study. Both documentations present and detail the elements of the test system.
