About Johannes Hollenbach
Johannes Hollenbach has been working as a research assistant for the Chair of Statistics and Empirical Economics since June 2024. He is also a researcher at RWI - Leibniz Institute für Economic Research in Essen.
Johannes graduated from the University of Bayreuth with an M.S. in Economics and a B.A. in International Economics and Development. He worked as a student assistant for the Chair of Development Economics and the Chair of Institutional Economics at the University of Bayreuth and spent a semester abroad at Ajou University in Suwon, Korea.
Research
Research Interests
His research areas include applied econometrics, health economics and social genomics. He is particularly interested in how policy interventions can improve health, reduce inequalities and support human capital development.
