Dipl.-Wirt.-Inf. Jens Wolff

Jens Wolff studied business informatics / information systems at the University of Paderborn (specializing in project, process and quality management as well as reorganization) and graduated in 2005 with a degree in business informatics (Dipl.-Wirt.-Inf.). He gained professional experience in medium-sized companies as head of an IT and organization department and as a consultant for internal projects / business organization as well as in a municipal educational institution as coordinator of further education and training and representative of the department management.

Jens Wolff has been working in the Central University Administration of Paderborn University since 2010 in Devision 3 | General Student and Examination Affairs, Subdivision 3.4 | Campusmanagement (until the end of February 2024 in Subdivision 3.1 - General Study Planning, Structural Planning). He works as deputy head of subdevision and is responsible for the planning, implementation and further development of administrative requirements for studies and teaching in the area of campusmanagement as a modeling and course coordinator and process manager at the interface between the faculties and the central administration. In addition to being deputy head of the subdivision, he is also responsible for leading the modeling and course management expert groups. During his time at Paderborn University, he completed the modular training and further education series “Developing and expanding leadership skills” and qualified as a quality officer (TÜV) and safety officer (VBG).

He is also qualified as an emergency paramedic, practical instructor, instructor and lecturer in the rescue service as well as an association leader and organizational head of the rescue service. As an honorary lecturer, he is involved in basic, advanced and further training in the rescue service as well as management training and is active as a firefighter in various roles in the volunteer fire department. In addition to his work on the Board of Directors, he was also active for a long time as the head of a disaster control unit and as a member of various disaster control working groups.
