The AStA Summer Festival attracts thousands of visitors every year - and this time it is also a pilot project in terms of sustainability. In the it's OWL project "Climate bOWL" ("Climate neutral Business in Ostwestfalen-Lippe"), partners from science and industry have developed an intelligent assistance system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
As part of a project week, teachers and professors from Kennesaw (Georgia) visited the cathedral city to gain insights into local educational work and develop new exchange formats with pupils, students and teachers.

How do ideas become successful innovations? And how do research findings find their way into our everyday lives? On Thursday, 15 May, the new podcast "Wissen2Wirtschaft ...und zurück", a joint project of Paderborn University and the Paderborn Economic Development Agency, will be launched.
Prof. Dr Norbert Otto Eke, a researcher at Paderborn University, was elected as the new chairman of the international scientific association "Forum Vormärz Forschung" in Wuppertal at the end of April.
More than 200 exchange students, sponsors, alumni and active members came together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Office's buddy programme and the student initiative "Eurobiz".
Numerous students from 36 partner universities from 20 different countries came together at Paderborn Town Hall on Tuesday at the invitation of Mayor Michael Dreier.
