Equality plans
In order to work towards the realisation of equal opportunities for women and men in all status and employment groups and to reduce structural disadvantages, Paderborn University has continuously adopted an equality framework plan for the entire university since 2000. On the basis of this framework plan, the faculties, central institutions and the administration of Paderborn University draw up specific equality plans for the respective fields with concrete targets and timelines as well as measures to increase the proportion of women. At the end of the three- to five-year term of the plans, they are reviewed for their effectiveness and topicality, supplemented and updated if necessary.
