Earmarked funds for gender equality measures in Collaborative Research Centres
Collaborative Research Centres can apply for additional funding for gender equality measures. Up to 30,000 euros per year or 120,000 euros per funding period can be applied for as a lump sum with the institution or continuation application. If necessary, the sum can also be distributed unevenly over the funding period; however, it is not possible to subsequently shift approved funds to other financial years.
The funding requirements must be briefly outlined by describing the planned measures. This should include a description of the specific needs of the Collaborative Research Centre and its relationship to the university's existing measures, which are listed in the general application section.
Within the funding period, Collaborative Research Centres can also reallocate CRC funds saved elsewhere and use them for equality measures. A separate application is not necessary. Here you can find further information on the handling of funds received.
Further information and examples of how to use the funds can be found here.
