Writing Strategies for PhD Students and Researchers
"Now all I really have to do is write..." This workshop focuses on the process of writing in the narrower sense and shows various possibilities, approaches, exercises and strategies on getting texts related to the PhD going.
With plenty of time for reflection and trying things out, the best findings from research, helpful tips from the field, and exchange with each other , participants will clarify key questions that will help them to organize their writing process well:
- How can I start, continue, and finish texts?
- Should I actually start writing early or late?
- What tips, ideas or exercises for writing are actually available and which ones have proven themselves?
- How do I overcome motivation lows and writer's block?
The workshop is aimed at PhD students of all faculties who are just about to start writing or are in the middle of a writing phase. In addition, the only prerequisite for participation is that you are willing to reflect on old writing experiences and to make new experiences to expand your repertoire and capture writing strategies that are helpful to you.
Date: Wednesday, April 30, 2025, 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. (online).
Important: This workshop will be held in German.
