General Information about the Internal Course Programme
Find the answers here to the most important organisational questions relating to internal continuing professional development courses.
The courses in this programme are predominantly of professional interest, as long as the participants belong to the relevant target group. The time spent attending a course counts as working time.
It should still be made possible for employees who are interested in a course but do not belong to the target group to attend, as long as there are no pressing work-related reasons to prevent this. In this case, the time spent attending a course does not count as working time and should generally be made up by the employee. Time off may be granted in individual cases.
You can register online using the Registration Form for each course.
You should register as soon as possible, by the closing date at the latest (depending on the course, this is usually 2 weeks in advance).
Employees who belong to the target group will be admitted to the course. Any remaining free places will then be assigned to other interested employees. In the event that there are more registrations than places available, participants will be selected according to the time their registration was received.
All employees who registered before the closing date will be informed after that date whether they have been admitted to the course or not. You can also register at short notice after the closing date if there are still places available.
Registration is binding and you may only cancel due to compelling unforeseen circumstances. In this event, please contact Division 4.5 in good time.
Those attending a course within this programme will be sent a digital certificate of participation by email which will, however, not automatically be included in their personnel file.
Certificates can only be issued to participants who have attended at least 80% of the course, as only then is it safe to assume that they have acquired sufficient knowledge.
For data protection and privacy reasons, certificates of participation can only be requested up to a maximum of 3 months after the event.
Participating in continuing professional development does not confer any legal right to immediate professional benefit. Additional professional qualifications gained by attending the courses should be taken into account when making appointments and in decisions relating to promotions and salary band increases.
