The “WDR 2 Weihnachtswunder” is Coming to Paderborn – and UPB is Getting Involved!

We here at Paderborn University would like to contribute to the “WDR 2-Weihnachtswunder” and have therefore launched the “Christmas miracle week” (“Weihnachtswunderwoche”). From 9 to 13 December 2024, we are planning to offer a variety of lunchtime activities in order to collect donations. These activities will include staff bingo, waffle sales, poetry slam, and much more.

You have an idea for your own activity or would like to take part in organising UPB’s Christmas miracle week? That’s fantastic! To help us coordinate these activities and initiatives through one central point, please feel free to share your ideas and suggestions with us. Simply contact the University's main event management via e-mail (veranstaltungsmanagement@zv.upb.de). Please briefly outline your suggestion and indicate the contact person(s) along with their contact details.

Whether you organise an activity yourself or visit UPB’s main activities during the Christmas miracle week and donate a small amount, we appreciate and value all contributions. Do not hesitate to get in touch – we are looking forward to your support!

The money donated during Christmas miracle week will be given directly to the WDR 2 team’s glass house, which will be based in front of Paderborn’s town hall. The date will be announced in due course.

The fundraising campaign is organised jointly by WDR and Aktion Deutschland Hilft under the motto: Together against hunger in the world.
