On 24. October 2015, the "Lippische Landeszeitung" reported about a lecture by Dr. Michael Ströhmer, which he held upon invitation of the society for monument preservation in lower saxony. He talked about the early modern infrastructure, the transport routes of the Weser sand stone and about the so called "Bomwagen".

The research project "Weser Sandstone as a global cultural asset" and the global sand stone trade was the topic of a broadcast by "Deutschlandradio Kultur" hosted by Armin Himmelrath.
