Claus Scheidemann and Tobias Hemsel, who are working on the MESS subproject of the Neptun research group, reported results on the influence of temperature and mechanical pre-stress on the behaviour of piezoceramic ring-shaped ceramics at the International Workshop on Piezoelectric Materials and Applications in Actuators (IWPMA 2023), which was held this year as a symposium at the 7th International Conference on Advanced Electromaterials 2023 in Jeju (Korea), and also at the International Conference on Functional Materials & Devices 2023 (ICFMD 2023) in Incheon (Korea). Claus Scheidemann received the Best Presentation award at the (ICFMD 2023) for his presentation "Influence of Temperature and Pre-Stress on the Piezoelectric Material Behaviour of Ring-Shaped Ceramics".
